Also, he now has a very healthy body.
Describe the design intent for the chosen person.
1. We want to raise social movement by criticizing the reality that everyone, country or others can be infringed by freedom.
2. It enables users to cultivate their ability to actively control their own space and utilize it as a shelter.
3. Curtains, which are everyday materials, can be used to control the external gaze and protect privacy.
4. We want to criticize the prejudice that only those who are physically and mentally vulnerable are social weak.
Do you have freedom? No, we have no freedom. We are living in a network period where the boundaries between online and offline become blurred as modern society develops rapidly. Therefore, they live conveniently without restrictions of action. But we live by mistaking this as 'free,' rather, freedom is a means of being monitored by the state, or others. Because we are constantly being watched through everyday essentials that we enjoy. For example, data and information left behind by using cell phones, credit cards, CCTVs and laptops have become tools of surveillance that can track us. we want to criticize the paradoxical situation in which there is no freedom for modern people living in free democracy at present, and look back on our lives monitored and living through FREEDOM SOCIETY, and lead this to a social movement. The person we choose is a 26-year-old man who is healthy and has all social status. This breaks the prejudice of our society's view of people who are physically and mentally deficient as social weak. We also wanted to suggest the possibility that everyone could be a social weak. modern people live in a free democracy with no freedom from monitoring. We architecturally propose a refuge for the times. The shelter is designed to help users develop their own control over privacy and the ability to expand and shrink space. so that the Shelter can be used as a resting place to protect its privacy from the outside and heal the soul. the Shelter can be used as a resting place to protect its privacy from the outside and heal the soul.
When designing a shelter, the most important thing is to have a configuration system that allows the user to easily adjust the space to expand and contract the space while keeping privacy. The total space of the shelter is set at 3,000mm x 3,000mm. Second, for space control, make 600 mm x 600 mm of the interior space of the resting place a unit and 25 units in 5 compartments to enable expansion of the space. Thirdly, it allows us to control privacy by using materials that can easily be blocked and opened, such as curtains in the bedroom.
The materials used in this shelter were built by connecting PVC pipes and steel connecting sockets. We designed the privacy and the size of the space actively using curtains. PVC pipes used a 20A specification (external diameter of 26mm). A 'T'-type, three-way, five-way connected socket was used for the connection socket and a 'flange' socket was used to secure the column to support. Connect each PVC pipe and steel reconnected socket, make a rectangular structure, and install curtains and curtain rails in each member to complete it.
This allows modern people to reflect on the realities of freedom and being watched and lived, and to be used as architectural devices to control their own space and protect themselves from the surveillance of others.
